Royal Fiji Kava Review

The brand is Royal Fiji Kava and this is their Fiji Gold traditional powder. We wouldn’t find them here on IG but the product is sourced and made in the Fiji islands. Upon opening, the product is super fine powder and almost looked like an instant kava. It was easy to strain in both the Aluball and strainer bag, producing a nice dark liquid. The taste was actually pretty smooth and again reminded us of an instant powder taste as opposed to a lot of the traditional grinds out there.

Overall the effects were fairly subtle and took a bit to kick in. We would say this leans balanced, and it took drinking more than usual to feel the onset. Definitely a little weaker than most kavas we drink, but I think this could be a great base kava to add extracts or even some instant powder to make it more potent. This sells as a pound on Amazon for around $50, and with the other kavas out there I think there are better deals for the potency you get. This is a a good kava if your in a pinch and need Amazon quick shipping, and looking for something that you would like to try adding extracts to or bolster up with some instant powder.
