Psychedelic Water Canned Beverage Review

We did a review on Psychedelic Water packets a little while back but we are stoked to bring you a review on their new canned beverage!
.
This canned beverage combines 250mg of 30% kavalactone kava extract, 150 mg of mucuna pruriens extract at 15% L-Dopa, and green tea extract yielding 80mg of caffeine. The combo worked quite well, as the kava and mucuna pruriens is great for mood enhancement and the small amount of caffeine added a little boost.
.
Typically we don’t combine caffeine with kava, but a small amount of caffeine with the relatively small amount of kava extract works for a nice little mood shift + elevation that rivals a cup of coffee or energy drink. The L-Dopa is a precursor to dopamine which in theory adds an extra hit to this drink.
.
The two flavors were awesome (hibiscus + lime & blackberry + yuzu) with the hibiscus being our favorite. We really appreciated that the packets were flavored with stevia so we were a little bummed to see erythritol was used to flavor the beverages. Personally, we are sensitive to this sweetener but most people don’t have issues.
.
Overall, a pretty cool drink that adds a little energy boost with the mind shift kava and mucuna pruriens can provide at a subtle yet noticeable dosage. Check them out at https://psychedelicwater.com/ and pick some up for yourself to try!
