Mitra 9 Kava & Kratom Shot Review

Alright you all knew this review was coming 😂 Yes, we have tested and tried the new Mitra 9 Kava & Kr8tom Extract Shot!

When most see this, they are going to immediately think of Feel Free, which is this products biggest competitor in the space when it comes to a blended extract shot. While this is very similar, we aren’t going to compare it and will solely view this as its own formula.

The shot packs 330mg of kava extract and 110mg of Kr8tom (65% extract) into a 2 oz shot. The serving size is 1 oz, with the label indicating not to exceed one bottle in 24 hours. The flavor is Crisp Apple and is sweetened with cane sugar and natural apple flavor. No sucralose or erythritol!

The flavor itself was actually decent, and reminded us of apple cider vinegar. The effects took about 20-30 min to really hit, and we both started out with a 1oz serving and then moved to the full bottle next time we used..

Effects wise, this felt all Kr8tom and we didn’t really notice the kava, probably due to the Kr8tom being on the stronger side of the extract and dosage. With that being said, the kava may have helped edge out some of the energy the Kr8tom gave but it was very subtle and definitely not the main player. If you are looking for Kr8tom effects in an easy to drink shot, this is for you.

Half the bottle was a nice smooth energy, and we found this to be the best dosage. A full bottle had us a little too zoned out, but experienced users will probably end up drinking the 2oz either together or split within a close time of each other.

Overall, this is a nice tasting quick shot of Kr8tom, and seemed to be more geared towards that piece. The kava seemed to be maybe an addition for the novelty of combining the two, and to take a backseat role to the Kr8tom. There is some controversy right now about combining both these into one product, and ultimately it falls on the user to differentiate what kava and Kr8tom are, and the effects of both.
