Kava Luv Blissful Bula Shot Review

We recently tested out the Blissful Bula kava shot from Kava Luv Lounge and we must say this shot is pretty awesome!

Off the bat, huge props on using all natural and minimal ingredients to flavor this shot. It’s strictly kava extract with some lemon juice to flavor, no sucralose or artificial sweeteners in this bad boy. Personally we like as minimal as possible when it comes to added ingredients, but if you’re looking for something flavored this shot isn’t for you.

The shot itself comes in a 1 oz bottle and packs 1.5 grams of 30% kavalactone extract. This is a pretty hefty dose and you could easily split this into two servings, but kava veterans will probably enjoy the whole shot.

Effects were on par with a high dose extract, with noticeable relaxation kicking in around the 10 min mark of ingestion. It was a very smooth ride at the whole serving and lasted around 2 hrs. What we really saw with this was the potential for making mixed mocktail drinks, in addition to having something that was easily portable and accessible out on the run.
