Fiji Vanua Puariki Review

Today we are looking at Fiji Vanua's Puariki offering, which is a true single cultivar originating from Tongoa. We were told this was going to be a more uplifting and heady kava, and it certainly was.
.
Upon mixing, the color and consistency was extremely light, and slightly deceiving at first. In both a strainer bag and Aluball, the product produced a milky beige color that was a stark contrast to typical kavas that produce a much darker color.
.
The taste was light and pleasant, which again was deceiving in the effects it was about to provide. We don’t like comparing kava directly to cannabis, but a few shells of this almost had parallels to a mild sativa experience. While we do have a strong reverse tolerance to kava (the more you drink, the less you need), typically we still need a few shells to be in a good spot. ONE shell of this stuff had us feeling juuuust right. In fact, Charles was working one afternoon on some projects and had two shells, and found he had to back off and just chill 😂
.
This kava was an absolute sleeper, potent as f*ck and knocked our damn socks off. We go through a pound bag of kava pretty quickly but this will last us a bit, since we really only need a shell each to be feeling right.
.
Uplifting, talkative, but still relaxed vibes that are perfect for an afternoon setting and with people. This did affect sleep a tad when drunk past 4pm (we also go to bed at 8pm, granny life for sure but sleep = gains & we wake up at 4am lol). Our recommendation is to cut off a few hours before bed if sensitive to more heady cultivars.
.
Powerful cultivar that is absolutely worth the price tag. It really is an experience both newbies and kava veterans will appreciate. Find them at https://fijivanuakava.com/
