Fiji Vanua Kava Review

Fiji Vanua is becoming quite the brand in the kava space…

They test every batch of kava and have some very competitive pricing, along with a substantial amount of strain options. Also, they do have a few options available on Amazon! We were sent their Old Roots, Malo Tonga, Vanuatu, and Santa Cruz strains.

Up first, the Old Roots is one of their stronger, heavy kavas and we found that it took a bit to hit, but once it did this kava hit us in the face! Very strong kava, and even though it was on the heavier side it did give both of us a bit of insomnia that night instead of helping to sleep, so we would recommend this for the afternoon. POWERFUL effects though, this one can for sure get you into that super kavafied state lol.

The Malo Tonga is a headier strain, and this kava for us put us in a great mood but still had muscle relaxing effects... Despite this kava being headier, it didn’t affect our sleep. This was perfect for an afternoon hanging out with the kids and enjoying each other’s company. Lifts the mood, exactly what you want from a more euphoric kava strain!

The Vanuatu I would say was the workhorse of the group, and had consistent, nice heavy body effects that could be felt after shell two, with a nice buildup to that couch lock feel and assisted in a relaxing evening followed by great sleep.

Saving the best for last, the Santa Cruz strain is the GOAT of their line up- This stuff is what you want for the perfect evening of kava drinking.. Relaxing, great body effects and nice calming mood boost, followed by a good sleep. The Santa Cruz strain is so versatile and we think this could be used in the day or night for getting that “krunk” feeling without making you wobble too much!
