Coral Sea Nawita Review

Coral Sea Kava has been one of our absolute favorite brands when it comes to instant kava, but Jesse (the owner) has expanded his line of kava offerings to now include medium grind powder. If you scroll back a bit, we reviewed his Kelai medium grind, and today we are bringing a review on his Nawata offering.
.
The Nawata comes from Vanuatu, and Jesse described it as being a little more balanced and heady than most Vanuatu cultivars, but still having “legs” and being able to end on a heavy note..
.
Please use a strainer bag and not an Aluball to do this kava justice, as it’s a little too course to run through the Aluball. But, prepared normally this kava comes out smooth as silk and has very earthy, spicy undertones.
.
Effects did feel slightly uplifting at first, but after the initial rush (~15 min), the kava definitely did start creeping to the body and had a bit of a stoney feeling. This was also much more of a slow burn when it came to potency.. The first shell was like, alright good vibes.. Second shell it was hitting the body.. Then by third shell rolled around it was like, damn we are a bit kavafied 😂
.
Overall kinda a unique offering, and interesting experience. We liked this definitely for the weekend late afternoon going into evening when we knew it was going to be a chill night. Good slow conversation kava that eventually eased off into a full body relaxed state.
