Botanic Tonics Feel Free Review

Today we are breaking down the popular kava & Kratom tonic from Botanic Tonics which has become quite popular!
.
The “Feel Free” tonic is a 2 serving shot (2 oz total) where 1 oz is comprised of a 2600mg proprietary blend of kava and Kratom extract. Off the bat, we are not a fan of the proprietary blend, especially when it comes to Kratom dosages. This does not give the user an idea of what is affecting them (dose wise) and leaves it up to interpretation as to how much is actually in the 2600mg blend.
.
As far as effects, we both started out at the 1/2 bottle serving and then drank the rest a few hours later. Overall, effects were pretty good but more on the mellow side, with more noticeable focus/mood elevating notes. If you are looking for a sedating or relaxing kava/Kratom blend, this one probably won’t fit the bill. But if you are looking to get stuff done, or enjoy a day at the beach (like we did), this is a perfect pick me up.
.
The taste of this was pretty bad. Even with us both being experienced traditional kava and Kratom drinkers, we both had to down this quickly. Considering it’s a shot, not a big deal, but we had some people reach out and say they couldn’t get past the taste of this. We noticed it had pineapple and stevia as a sweetener, which may have added to the bitterness.
.
Overall, we think this is a decent little shot, but the taste and the lack of transparency of dosages were hits. Experienced kava drinkers may find the kava effects weak, and require more than the 1 oz serving. Kratom effects were there, and probably had the biggest noticeable effects, especially at 2 oz.

We have now seen an update to the version we tried, and it looks it looks like the full dosages are on the label now. With this industry ever in flux, companies may change formulas depending on current regulations. You can find them here at https://botanictonics.com/
